Duncan comes from a wine industry and hospitality background, having managed restaurants for the Hyatt, Sheraton and Radisson hotel groups both in Melbourne and Port Douglas as well as managing independent restaurants in both Brisbane and Melbourne.
Duncan has been involved in the Wine industry since 1996 working for Kooyong Winery and Paringa Estate on the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria as well as managing a small private vineyard. He has extensive experience in both viticulture and winemaking having been involved with both these companies in both the winery and vineyard.
Duncan has completed a Diploma in Horticulture specialising in Viticulture (Vineyard Management) at Swinburne TAFE and is currently in the middle of studying for the combined Bachelor of Applied Science in Oenology (Winemaking) and Viticulture degree at Charles Sturt University.
Picnics at Cellar Door on site are welcome. No BYO alcohol.
