Tasting Notes

BRONZE MEDAL WINNER AT 2010 CAIRNS WINE SHOW

The fruit for this wine was grown at Aussie Vineyard’s very own stunning Henty Estate located at Ballandean in the Granite Belt in Queensland. We have crafted our Cabernet Sauvignon from selected new and used French Oak barriques to produce a wine that we believe eloquently demonstrates the incredible potential of the Granite Belt.

Au Cabernet Sauvignon displays a beautiful deep ruby colour finely layered with a pleasing bouquet of blackberry and blueberry. The rich, full palate of ripe berry fruits is intertwined with balanced tannins and refined smooth oak.
