Tasting Notes

Element 79 is the limited release big brother of our Award-winning ‘Au’ range of wines – estate-grown in the bountiful Granite Belt of Queensland’s southeast.

Our 2008 Granite Belt Shiraz glows with deep red and purple colours and evokes intense blackberry aromas, enhanced by seductive hints of dark berry on the nose. The palate is filled with liquorice and blackberry, complimented by a long finish from firm oak tannins. 2008 was an exceptional vintage for the Granite Belt and our red grapes thrived in near – perfect growing and ripening conditions – producing intensely flavoured fruit.
